課程概述

本課程以教師講授及論著精讀討論之方式，引導學生研討當代英文史學論著，並分析其主要問題意識。

課程目標

本課程之目的在於引導學生熟悉當代英語史學界之重要問題，並經由研讀與討論，深入探討中西歷史思維之異同等課題，並提升英文閱\讀能力。

課程要求

本課程每週上課二小時，無期中考與期末考，學生必須全程研讀每週閱\讀作業，依教師指定之順序撰寫中文或英文提要在課堂報告，上課最後一週並撰寫一篇全學期閱\讀論文之心得報告（約5,000字，中文或英文均可）。
